There are 66 Cats in Neko Atsumi, divided into two categories- Regular and Rare. Regular Cats are attracted to random Goodies and Food and can appear in your garden anytime.

However, attracting the Rare Cats is a challenge.

You must put out specific Goodies and Food items to attract the fluffier, cuter, and rarer felines. To help players do that, we’ve put together this detailed guide about all Neko Atsume rare cats.

The global version of Neko Atsume has 22 Rare Cats. Another Rare Cat recently entered Neko Atsume on the Apple Arcade version. We’ll talk about that furry friend, too.

However, we’ve left out one Rare Cat that’s available in the Japanese version of the Neko Atsume. The name of that Rare Cat is Kitty Hawks, and it was added to the game in 2015.

Now, let’s jump back to the Rare Cats that are available globally.

Joe DiMeowgio is inspired by the famous New York Yankee, Joe DiMaggio. He is a Team Player with a power level of 28. As evident from his appearance, Joe is a baseball fan. That’s why his Memento is a Signed Baseball Bat.

Put out the following items to attract Joe DiMeowgio:

2. Senor Don Gato

Senor Don Gato has a Scheming personality, probably based on Puss in Boots. This sword-wielding Latino has a Power Level of 30 and loves to play with Mister Mouse.

If he likes you, he’ll reward you with his Memento- a Feathered Hat.

3. Xerxes IX

The name is a clever play on the “cats have nine lives” proverb. Maybe Xerxes is in his last life, which explains why he doesn’t make too many appearances. However, this royal cat can break the Persian protocols if you put out the following items.

Xerxes IX has 70 Power Level, and a Regal personality. If he likes you, he’ll reward you in typical royal fashion by offering some Pretty Stones as a Memento.

4. Chairman Meow

Don’t be fooled by the Boorish personality of Chairman Meow. They have 111 Power Level, thanks to the camouflage skin, a stainless steel helmet, and a “dangerous” ladle. Finishing off the soldier theme is their Dog Tag Memento.

Saint Purrtrick has an Awe-Inspiring personality and you’d expect no less from a cat named after Saint Patrick. This two-tailed cat has 222 Power Level and is attracted to the following stuff:

Saint Purrtrick’s Memento is a Mysterious Stone that radiates power.

6. Ms. Fortune

Although it reads misfortune, Ms. Fortune is supposed to be the lucky cat of Neko Atsume. The Charismatic personality only has a 20 Power Level. But luck and cuteness are invaluable. Here’s how to get Ms. Fortune:

Ms. Fortune will leave an Oval Coin of pure gold as a Memento.

7. Bob The Cat

Bob the Cat is inspired by Bobcats, which is why he has an Outdoorsy personality type. That’s why Bob the Cat doesn’t pay too much attention to the Food you put out. But, if you buy his favorite Goodies, he’ll come running.

His Memento is an Antique Compass. You might have to wait for him to visit 2-3 times before hoping to see his Memento.

8. Conductor Whiskers

Japan once had a cat acting as the Station Master at a train station in Kinokawa. Conductor Whiskers is based on the cat and his Vigilant personality perfectly fits the job.

To get Conductor Whisker, you must put out train-related toys. Some food items work too:

If he likes you, the Conductor will leave a Handwritten Ticket for you. Don’t worry, you don’t have to pay for it.

Tubbs is a Finicky Feaster who likes to eat. But he’s also very picky. You must put the right type of food alongside the right type of item to get Tubbs.

If you’re looking to bring some style to your Neko Atsume album, use the following things to get Lady Meow-Meow, the in-house Diva.

She’ll award you a pair of Novelty Glasses too.

12. Guy Furry

Guy Fieri of Neko Atsume is an Artisan who wears a chef’s costume. He only knows 2 dishes, though- Pizza and Halo-Halo. To see him cook those things, you can put out two different Goodies and corresponding Food items.

Guy Furry’s Memento is a Custom Rolling Pin and his power level is 30.

13. Kathmandu

Kathmandu has a Refined personality. That’s why he enjoys the finer things in life. Kathmandu is not afraid of sharing his experiences. Even if other cats are playing around with his favorite items, he still might visit you.

14. Ramses The Great

Ramses the Great looks like a Sphinx that’s taken the form of an Egyptian pharaoh.

He has a Riddler personality and is looking for a tent that looks like the Great Pyramid of Giza. If you can buy and place that Tent and put the following food items out, you might get to meet Ramses the Great.

For a Memento, Ramses leaves an Elegant Staff that looks like something out of a mythical world.

15. Sassy Fran

Sassy Fran is an enthusiastic waitress who can’t wait to visit your garden. The only problem is that you’re not placing the right things.

Here’s how you can get Sassy Fran:

Her Power Level is 180, and her Memento is a Coffee Cup.

16. Billy The Kitten

Billy the Kitten is a Nihilist. He is an extreme pessimist and believes in nothing. Well, apart from Cowboy Hats.

He loves a cowboy hat. So much so that if you put one in your garden, he’ll come to play with it. You should also put some of the following foods, just to be sure:

Another ironic thing about Billy the Kitten is his Memento. Although a Nihilist, he gives away a Lucky Coin as a Memento.

Billy shares the highest Power Level (250) with Mr. Meowgi.

17. Frosty

Frosty is the most common Rare Cat in Neko Atsume.

After going through the table below, you might even question the rarity classification of this guy. But it is what it is. Here is the long list of Goodies that can attract Frosty even on non-snowy days.

Frosty is a Sensitive cat and only has 5 Power Level. He will give you a Thaw-proof Snowman if he likes you.

18. Sapphire and Jeeves

These two are the IT couple of Neko Atsume, and they’ll only appear together. Both Sapphire and Jeeves like the same items and foods. That’s why I’ve put them together.

Here’s how to get this power couple to visit you:

Although together, they are very different from one another.

Sapphire is Naive, while Jeeves is Nimble. They also leave separate Mementos. Sapphire gives you a Poetry Book, and Jeeves gives you a Silver Pocket Watch.

19. Bengal Jack

Bengal Jack is a Reckless wannabe pirate who wears a hat and wields a sword. As any pirate, he also chases treasure.

He’ll visit you if you place some treasure boxes in the garden.

His Power Level is quite low – 66 – for someone playing a pirate, but he does have a fitting Memento, an Old Map.

20. Whiteshadow

Whiteshadow is an Elusive ninja who can’t be bought. There are not enough Goodies or Foods to attract this guy. He’ll appear randomly out of thin air and vanish with equal suddenness.

There are a lot of theories going around in the Neko Atsume community about what works to attract Whiteshadow, but nothing is proven.

So, put out all the Food items randomly and hope he visits.

You’ll find a Paper Shuriken lying around when Whiteshadow comes to visit.

21. Hermeowne

This might just be the worst butchering of Hermoine Granger’s name I’ve ever seen. But the cat is cute, so I’ll let it slide.

Hermeowne is a Gentle cat who wears a witch’s costume and is attracted to the following items:

Hermeowne’s Memento is a Small Glass Bottle and her power level is 200.

22. Meowton (Apple Arcade Exclusive)

Meowton is an Apple Arcade Exclusive Rare Cat in Neko Atsume and one of my favorites. He’s named after Newton, and his favorite item is the Apple Ball (Red).

Meowton leaves behind a Ball on a String as his Memento to teach you a thing or two about gravity.
